I am an experienced and accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and Associate Practitioner at the Brighton Therapy Centre.
I provide Integrative Psychotherapy which draws on a range of therapeutic approaches including Relational Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person-Centred Counselling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I am experienced working with clients who have suffered with complex relational trauma and PTSD. Offering therapy that is tailored to each client’s needs is central to my approach. Psychological research and neuroscience inform my integrative approach and understanding of what works in therapy.
I view the therapeutic relationship as the heart of change and would work with you in a way that is warm and empathic, providing a steady presence alongside you, so you can build trust and work through past pain, grief or trauma. I see the therapeutic process as collaborative, where we would work together to support you to build awareness of your relational patterns and develop insight into your own psychology.
In my experience clients have benefitted from attending therapy in some of the following ways: changing thoughts, behaviours and relational patterns that no longer serve them, developing emotion regulation abilities, building strength, self-compassion and resilience, changing their relationship with themselves and building more satisfying relationships with others.
